Hi! I’m Aziza Lee, and I’m currently a senior at Mercer Island High School. I’m part of a family of four, with a twin sister and a 2-year-old standard poodle. My family raised me to value generosity and honesty, which I will carry with me for the rest of my life through everything I do, and everything I experience. I’ve been determined and committed to everything I pursue for as long as I can remember. I’ve been involved in ballet, volleyball, swimming, biking, track and field, etc. but tennis, skiing, and badminton were the sports that I truly enjoy and devote much of my time to.
I’m especially dedicated to activities in which I am able to offer my interpersonal and leadership skills in any way I can to those who need them, or to be of use in charitable projects. I work really well with others and contribute in a team environment - putting my communicational and flexible traits to use most effectively. I play doubles on my badminton team, and often in tennis because I find it the most rewarding to build one another up, and have complete trust in each other, and our mutual abilities in order to achieve our victories.
There is something truly refreshing about being outdoors, whether I'm skiing down slopes or hiking up trails, I am entirely focused on what is in front of me and feeling invigorated and restored. My travels across Europe and the Pacific Northwest have opened my eyes to activities like paragliding, ziplining, and many other exhilirating experiences that I will never forget. But it's not just about the adrenaline rush, the same reinvigoring feeling comes from other things, like finding solutions to the unknown or even new ways to explore the know world. It's more than a sense of achievement, it's my purpose in discovering and making a difference that can help others.
I’m dedicated and outgoing, which has helped me through the connections and decisions I’ve made. I love building new relationships and I value every one I make because they all help to build me as a person, and I’m constantly improving through all of the amazing people I’ve met.
